Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of EduStories, a service operated by BambooTech in Finland. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account-only features.

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. A parent or legal guardian must manage use involving a child who cannot independently consent under applicable law.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant BambooTech a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, translate where requested and display that content for operating and promoting EduStories. This licence ends when content is removed, except for reasonable backups and material already shared by others.

Only publish content you have the right to share. Protect learner privacy: do not include names, photographs, school details, health information or circumstances that could identify a student without a valid legal basis and all required permissions.

Do not use EduStories for unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, abusive or harmful content; infringement of intellectual property or privacy; spam; impersonation; security attacks; scraping that disrupts the service; or attempts to bypass access controls. We may review reports, remove content or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary.

EduStories helps people discover educator perspectives and may facilitate an introduction. Unless expressly stated otherwise, BambooTech is not the employer, agent or guarantor of a teacher or learner. Users are responsible for checking identity, qualifications, suitability, safeguarding arrangements and the terms of any lesson agreed outside the service.

AI-assisted recommendations and study plans are provided for general guidance. They may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect and do not replace professional educational, medical, legal or financial advice. Review important decisions independently and do not rely on an AI output as a guarantee of results.

Paid subscriptions and checkout are not currently active. No purchase can presently be completed through EduStories. Before paid plans are launched, we will publish the applicable price, taxes, renewal, cancellation, refund and consumer-rights terms and request any acceptance required by law.

We work to keep EduStories available and secure, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BambooTech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk or legal requirement. We may update these terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate. Finnish law governs these terms, without limiting mandatory protections available to consumers under European Union or local law.
